This is a very minor detail. Nothing in the game. But for the longest time now, even through re-installs of the game, when I start up GW2 and the client pops up, allowing me to put in my account name and account password, log-in, then start the game; the "Remember Password" box is ticked off but it never remembers my password.
The website says my login information for Guild Wars 1 is the same as for GW2 (as I have linked my accounts). However, it isn't because I get told that login information isn't recognised. When I use my email I used for GW1, it tells me my password is incorrect. I have tried every password I can think of, I've reset both my NCsoft and GW

Strange, I had to switch to another computer and do it through linux. the randomly generated password I was trying to use had been flagged as one that was used before or was unsafe. At the top of the page would drop down a frame that mentioned that but on my desktop pc, those frames weren't showing up at all.

Also, if you have any friends who currently play the game, they may still have a character name listed in a friendslist or guild. That said, Anet will surely process your request if you have other sufficient information to show you are the account owner.
Steam would captured my screen shots and log my time played, so if I ever changed pcs or reformatted all my pictures are saved in steam, 1 password to remember. Not sure if this belongs here or in 'Bugs', but my launcher no longer saves my Account Name nor password. At first it saved the password, but not the Account Name; now it blanks out both fields. Made sure 'My Account' was working; restarted computernot sure what else to try.
