The T.Flight Hotas One provides the same level of realism. The joystick's realistic, ergonomic design is perfectly adapted to all types of flight (aerial combat, space adventure, civil flight, etc.). The wide hand-rest helps gamers keep their hand in a very stable and relaxed position, allowing the stick to react to even subtle movements.
My dual joystick set up. I had an Saitek Cyborg EVO kicking around, and managed to borrow a 2nd unit. There is a bug however, in that if you open the control settings page a second time after setting the controls, the button mapping from joystick #2 gets assigned to joystick #1. The same thing applies as well after being in the main menu.

I can get the option control menu to see the bind profile that have been placed in .. AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings. Nor does it show in the HCS voice customiser menu. Every JS is there accept the Logitech 3D pro .. thought the guys at ED frontier would have sorted this by now.

The Thrustmaster T16000 HOTAS has the joystick proper, but also a mini-joystick on the throttle, bot are refered to as "joy". So, "joy up" or whatever the wording actually is could refer to any which of the two. The game knows the difference, and won't mix them up, but won't display anything to let you know what the difference actually is.
Its either no rolling or rolling at full speed. I thought the advantage of a joystick was that one could control the ship with more fine tuned movements. Another example, if I pull the joystick back in order to point my ships nose upwards it is impossible to keep the stick completely center which makes the ship roll aswell.
