Sigma series – The serial number is located on the frame under the front of the handgun. SW99 – The serial number is located on the frame at the rear of the pistol. The Serial contains letter prefixes and numbers which are significant in outlining the manufacturing date. We have reviewed the numbers by the year of issue.
Serial numbers. I have come into possession of an old guitar. The brand inside reads C.F. Martin & Company Nazareth Penn. D-28. The 8 is rather distorted, and looks a little like a 3, but it is an 8. the serial number is 2881344. I know that this is too large for Martin, so what is the deal here. Martin had a special custom-made display case fabricated to house the instrument for the show. #1,000,000 is definitely not for sale and will stay in the Martin Museum, but we do have the D-100 limited edition that is a very similar replica. Is serial number 1,000,000 the ultimate C.F. Martin guitar?

Epiphone. (Ver. 3.5) The Epiphone serial number decoder currently supports 12 serial number formats from 25 factories. Vintage numbers from 1932 to 1970 are supported. Serial numbers from 70' and 80's era Epiphone guitars made in Japan are not supported. The reason for this is that there is no reliable documentation from this time period.
